NEW MOON IMAGES
My name is Neil and I've always been mad on photography, as a teenager I bought a Kodak 110 camera and drove my friends and family mad. For my 18th my parents bought me a SLR camera and I took a course at college.
In 2006 after the birth of my first granddaughter I treated myself to a digital SLR camera and haven't looked back since. I went semi professional in 2007 mainly to pay for all the equipment I had bought and started taking portraits and shooting weddings. I have built up an extensive portable studio which I can set up in a clients home in just a few minutes.
This month I have taken the giant leap of hiring a room at the village hall as a base and studio. I love portrait photography, I'm capturing a moment in time in a persons life and recording it forever. I recently worked on our family tree and discovered a photo album from the Victorian era, it was great to see images of family members long since gone. That's what I love doing capturing the present now for the future.
I appreciate that everyone has a camera and even phones take a nice photo now. So why pay for someone to take a photo ? The answer is that expensive cameras and lenses are expensive for a reason, the images they produce are fantastic. Couple that with studio lighting and a background of your choice, not forgetting a bloke who knows how to get the best out of them. The result is an image you and your family will treasure.
I have bought a number of backgrounds from the USA, I would be surprised if anyone in this area has them, if you chose these then your images will be unique. But I will not just work from the studio, if you cant get to me then I can come to you and set up in your home. If you have a favorite location in the outdoors I can set up wireless flashes and turn that into a studio, the more challenging the more fun it will be... (within reason !! )
Now the important part, prices....
I currently run an offer of £45 for the photo session. Now I know you see offers like this all the time and you know that the additional prints you will want will be expensive. Well I don't believe in doing business like that, so my additional prints start from £8 for a 6x4. I also provide you with a low res image for Facebook or your phone from each image you buy. I am also introducing a referral scheme where you gain rewards for referring friends to me. This maybe in the form of free prints from the session or a free session and prints.
Some studio's gave you a hard sell when you view the images. I don't do that, in fact I put your images in a gallery on my website, which can be password protected, only persons you trust can view it when you share the password with them. It contains a shopping cart so relatives and friends who don't live in the area could buy images. It also means you can take your time under no pressure to pick you favorite images and buy them. I don't want you to go away from me and tell friends that you regret your purchase in the cold light of day, we've all done that at some time. I want you to tell your friends that you had a good time, that I captured great images and that I am excellent value for money and I want you to come back to me time and again so that I can capture important moments in your family history for you.
To book a session simply email me at [email protected] or give me a call on 07894 905329, if you want to use the village hall then I simply book the room for that period, which keeps my costs down.
So please get in touch and I look forward to hearing from you.
