Hilton Village Hall has currently suspended the Book Swap 
scheme due to COVID.

As you may know as part of the cuts, Derbyshire 
County Council is going to cut our mobile library visit 
to one half day every month and that will be in the 
smaller van as well.  
So it was decided at  a Hilton Village Hall meeting to 
purchase a couple of bookcases and provide a book 
swap facility at the village hall. So bring along any 
good books you have read that you want to pass 
onto others and pick up a couple of others to read. 
Bring those back when you have finished and choose 
some others. This is a free service for the village. It 
would be good if we can have books to suit all ages 
as I know the children from the nurseries look 
forward to their outings to the book van. Christmas 
is coming and I know there will be new books to read 
and not enough room on the bookshelf….. 
This will be a chance for you to add a service for 
Hilton. So if you want to’ read good books leave 
good books’

This will be located in the new lobby area.
