Lots of people use our wonderful Village Hall and we would like to make it even better. As well as improving current facilities, we would like to redesign and extend the building so that even more activities and events can take place.

During February and March 2009, we consulted those who currently use the hall and there was overwhelming suport for a range of changes, including improvements in energy efficiency and a new community cafe.

Blair Gratton Architects has been chosen (subject to further negotiation) as the architect for the proposed building programme, whose draft design looks like this:

This design is the starting point for further consultation and conversations.
